We are pleased to invite you to the Rwanda Water Platform Meeting on Tuesday 21 April 2026 (13:30–17:00 CET) at The Hague Conference Centre, New Babylon. The event is organised by the RVO Water Support Programme.

This in-person meeting will highlight recent developments and opportunities in Rwanda’s water sector, bringing together professionals from Rwanda and the Netherlands. The afternoon will conclude with networking drinks.

Speakers include the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Rwanda, as well as speakers from the Netherlands Red Cross (Water at the Heart of Climate Action), Haskoning and GCA (Flood-resilient urban transport in Kigali), Holland Greentech (Water in horticulture), IRC WASH (Rwanda WASH update and information on ‘The Kigali Symposium on Africa’s Agenda for Water and Sanitation Transformation’), Aqua for All (Scaling WASH finance in Rwanda) and the Inclusive Green Growth Department of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

This Platform meeting may also be of interest to a broader audience engaged in Africa-wide WASH policy, finance and system reform, given the continental scope of the upcoming Kigali Symposium (August 2026), co-convened by African Ministers’ Council on Water and the Government of Rwanda, which will gather African ministerial leadership together with international political, financial and technical partners.

The session will be moderated by Don Offermans, Strategic Advisor on Water for Rwanda under the Water Support Programme.
