Meet the participating organisations

At Bosman, we understand what water demands and what it deserves. From our headquarters located in the Netherlands, we have spent generations developing smart, lasting solutions for pumping stations and wastewater treatment. Because water is what drives us.

As a family business, we carry more than technical expertise. It started in 1929 with wind-powered water mills. Today, we design, manufacture and install high-performance pumps up to 30.000 liters of water per second and aeration for wastewater treatment plants.

But great technology alone doesn’t make a great company. What truly sets us apart is how we work: honest, committed, and always thinking ahead. We believe in trust — with our clients, our suppliers, and everyone we partner with. Bring us your toughest water challenge regarding aeration or surface water pumps. We’ll roll up our sleeves and make sure it works. Bosman. Deep expertise. Reliable service. Built to last.

Rotterdam WeatherWise (Dutch) is the climate adaptation programme of the City of Rotterdam, a delta city that has turned living with water into a global signature. Below sea level we face flooding, heat, drought and land subsidence. We treat every challenge as a chance to build a stronger, greener and more liveable city. Our work spans the full scale of the delta. From facade gardens, water squares, and depaved schoolyards to green and blue networks, climate adaptive districts and major works such as the Rijnhaven tidal park and the storm surge barriers that protect our coast. We deliver this with residents, regional water authorities, businesses and knowledge institutions. Because no city becomes climate ready alone. Rotterdam works actively with delta cities worldwide, from Singapore to Copenhagen, sharing knowledge and shaping the standards for the resilient watercities of tomorrow together.

Based in the Netherlands, NX Filtration develops and manufactures advanced hollow fiber membrane solutions for drinking water production, wastewater reuse, and industrial water applications. The company offers a portfolio of hollow fiber nanofiltration (HFNF), ultrafiltration (UF), and microfiltration (MF) technologies designed to help utilities and industries produce high quality water with a reduced environmental footprint.

Its hollow fiber nanofiltration (HFNF) technology removes micropollutants including pharmaceuticals, medicines, PFAS and insecticides, as well as color, selective salts, bacteria, viruses and nanoplastics, while offering strong sustainability benefits. Compared to conventional treatment concepts, HFNF can significantly reduce energy consumption and chemical use while simplifying treatment processes.

NX Filtration supports customers worldwide in addressing growing water scarcity, tightening water quality regulations, and the increasing demand for sustainable and circular water solutions.

Royal Eijkelkamp is a 115-year-young global innovation leader in soil and water, active in over 90 countries worldwide.
We form local coalitions to preserve urban and coastal freshwater systems and make them climate proof. We help industries in water-stressed regions, make mining sustainable, food and beverage water secure and help data centres de-risk their operations and turn them net water positive.

Our Water Works smart solutions begin with tailored local designs and end with lifelong monitoring and maintenance.

At the foundation is ROAK, our open and cloud-based data platform that connects sensors, dataloggers, and field instruments into a single real-time view. ROAK turns raw water and soil measurements into actionable intelligence, enabling operators, planners, and policymakers to make faster, better-informed decisions.

From ground sensor to boardroom decision: Royal Eijkelkamp closes the loop between measurement and action.

Wednesday 17 June: Water Security Innovations: Balancing Extremes and Ensuring Resilience By 2030

10.30-11.40

Co-organised by the Netherlands Pavillion

This partner event will take place at the main stage, Level 1 SIWW Expo

Achieving SDG 6 by 2030 requires more than innovation; it requires acceleration. In this fast-paced and interactive session, Dutch water innovators take the stage to tackle one pressing question: what is holding us back from scaling solutions that ensure clean water and sanitation for all?

Through a dynamic series of short debate rounds, leading organisations from the NL Pavilion will share the biggest barriers they face when scaling impactful solutions and challenge each other to identify practical ways to overcome them. The audience will join the conversation through live polls and questions, helping to surface the most urgent obstacles and the bold ideas needed to move faster.

Expect sharp insights, honest reflections, and a lively exchange between innovators and participants. Together, we’ll explore how collaboration, policy, finance, and technology can help close the SDG 6 gap before 2030.

This session will be moderated by Liliane Geerling, programme coordinator Partners for Water, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO)
